Pineapple Express

Seth Rogen returns to our screens after the success of Knocked Up and Superbad, in yet another side-splitting comedy.

Pineapple Express sees Rogen star as Dale Denton, a stoner and a slacker who works as a process server, where he gets to spend most of his day smoking marijuana.

Dale is on the job when he finds himself witness to a murder conducted by a bent cop and a dangerous drug lord. In his moment of panic, he drives into two parked cars, alerting the murderers to his presence.

He accidentally leaves his roach at the scene of the crime and realises this could lead to the identification of himself and his dealer, Saul Silver (played by James Franco). So the pair do the logical thing and go on the run.

Dale and Saul are such an unlikely duo and they both have such random personalities that the humour flows fast and free from start to finish. They meet some strange people along the way and find themselves in some sticky situations but, this all adds to the comical atmosphere of the film.

Seth Rogen seems to be making quite a name for himself as a comedy pro and his latest film, Pineapple Express, is a must see.
